A recent event hosted by Eicher with the aim of bringing together its customers & key stakeholders in the e-commerce industry also witnessed the launch of five new variants of its Pro 1000 and Pro 3000 series of trucks. This launch happened at the Eicher Pro Biz Expo, which was held at Dr Prabhakar Kore Convention Centre in Bangalore from November 22 to 23, 2017. These trucks (namely the Pro 1110, Pro 1110XP, Pro 3012/14 and Pro 3015) were launched with new variants focused in catering and supporting the e-commerce industry in India. Having 24ft long cargo bodies, these segment-first variants come with benefits like best-in-class payload and fuel efficiency, and higher Volume Space Index. Along with being fuel efficient, they are cost efficient too, having the longest service interval of 50,000km.

This event gave the key stakeholders and customers a first-hand experience of the smartest solutions offered by Eicher like Aftermarket Lifetime Support System (which provides services like on-site repair), AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract), Telematics, and various other services that are important for commercial transport services. These services have all been designed considering the needs of the industry for the long haul to short haul and last-mile delivery.

The Pro 3000 series trucks, unlike the Pro 1000 series, come with Eicher’s smart services like Eicher Live, fuel coaching, Intelligent Driver Information System (IDIS), cruise control, parabolic suspension, Domex chassis and a 395-litre fuel tank. However, these features are offered as optional and are not part of the standard kit.
